Sterling Rettke founded Louisburg Strategies on a simple conviction: that effective strategy should be accessible to every leader willing to fight for something that matters — not just those with the largest budgets or the most established networks.
His career spans every level of American politics and across sectors. Sterling has worked on presidential, federal, and state campaigns — including the effort to elect President Biden in the battleground state of Nevada in 2020. He has served as a volunteer, staffer, campaign manager, and senior consultant, building a rare understanding of political operations from the ground up.
Beyond political campaigns, Sterling brings cross-sector experience that distinguishes his advisory practice. He has managed high-value client portfolios in business consulting and supported critical data operations and donor management for nonprofits. In every role, he applies a consistent, results-oriented approach: diagnose the challenge, build a strategy grounded in evidence, and execute with discipline.
